what will a website cost me?
That depends on what your requirements are. There is no such thing as a standard website. All websites designed by Shebang Software are designed from the ground up and hand crafted to meet the specific needs of each client. i have decided to go ahead with a website. what is the process for getting a site up and running?
- Gather requirements
After we receive your initial contact you will be provided with a questionnaire to complete. The questionnaire will help you to think about what the requirements are for your web site. From your responses to the prompts contained in the questionnaire and from further consultation, we can generate a set of requirements for your web site.
- Prepare proposal
Based on the requirements generated as a result of the first step, we will carefully prepare a proposal for the design and development of your web site. At this point if everything meets your approval we will begin the design and development of your web site.
- Prepare website design and mockups
The first step in making your website a reality is to prepare some rough designs and mockups to allow you to visualise the finished product. This also enables us to gather feedback on your preferences, likes and dislikes. As a result we will come to an agreement on the look and feel of your web site before any extensive development work has been undertaken.
- Code the website
Now that we have a good idea where we are going with the web site, we can get down to nitty gritty of making it a reality. During this phase we will breathe life into your fledgling web site. The graphics produced during the design phase will be refined, live content will be put in place, the web site will be optimised for search engine performance and in general everything will be polished and made ready to go live.
- Make website available for approval
Once the coding of the web site has been completed it will be made available for your approval on our private server for you to take a detailed look over . During this phase will be the last opportunity to fix any minor problems, correct typographic mistakes or make minor changes.
- Upload the website to the web hosting server
Once the web site meets you approval we will upload all the web site files to the web hosts server. At this point your web site is live and available to all. Shortly after the web site is uploaded you can expect the various search engines to examine and index your web site. Once this has happened your web site will be available in web searches through Google, Yahoo, MSN and others. If you have signed up for one of our search engine marketing, site monitoring and management packages we will begin collecting data on the performance of the web site which can be used to tune it to help achieve your desired results.

do you do also host web sites?
We don't host websites ourself. We do however have some great web hosting companies that we deal with regularly and we will be happy to set you up with one of them to meet your specific requirements.
we don't have a domain name. are you able to register one for us?
We would be more than happy to register your domain name as a part of developing your website.
